Cut Them Off in The Name of Jesus

“All the enemies surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118:10‬ ‭

Do you know the Bible lets us know the will of God? Let’s read 1 Timothy 2:1-4, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

The will of God is to have all people saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, cause then we would live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. How can men be saved? What is the truth and where is it found? The answer is simple, Christ! (John 1:14).

Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 lets us know what is stopping all men from getting the knowledge of the truth. He says, “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” The god of this age (the devil). And Jesus taught us how to deal with him and He gave us the authority to do so!

So what then did Jesus say to do?

First, you must know when he (the devil) is in operation cause we are aware of his schemes and he cannot outsmart us (2 Corinthians 2:11). Jesus said, “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” (Matthew 10:16).

Once you discern the spirit at work the next thing is to cast it out and cut off its influence (Mark 16:17). How do you do that? First, you call it by its name (Mark 5:9), then you cast it out and cut off its influence in the name of Jesus.

For example, you want to cast out the demon that has been oppressing a nation and causing destruction you say, “You spirit of oppression and destruction in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ I cut you off.” Once you say that it leaves, cause you used your authority in Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20). Once the devil is gone, you do not leave that place desolate, why? Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 12:43 - 45.

“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:43-45‬ ‭

So what then do you do? You reassign Angels to take over! “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews‬ ‭1:14‬

And then you begin to see results.

This is not the time to be loud on social media or arguing up and about or saying unnecessary words. Get busy cutting off the influence of Satan from the nations of the world, from the schools, from the citizens, from the government. Take your place as a king priest. Jesus Christ has trusted you to be his extension on the earth. Take charge! Do not get weak! Fight in the Spirit! Ignore what is happening all around and fight!

God bless you as you take charge.

DAVILANDA

Romans 10:9-10
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

CALL TO SALVATION.
