He is Risen!

Read: John 20:1-30, Hebrews 8:3-6, Colossians 1:19-20 He is Risen indeed! Hallelujah! It is important we remember that today is not just about the Easter Egg and dining. It is a Holy Day. The day of His resurrection. It is the day where Jesus Christ rose from the grave, ascended into heaven offered His blood on the mercy seat to make peace for us. He paid the debt for our sins! 3 days before His resurrection He died. After hanging between life and death in indescribable agony for about 6 hours, He died. After being beaten, publicly thrashed and humiliated, He died. A spear was thrust into His side which released every drop of His blood, to confirm His death. He was confirmed dead! The King of Kings died bearing our sins to make us Sin-free, but that wasn’t enough for Him. He descended into hell defeated the devil collected the keys of Hades and of death, Revelations 1:17-18 and He set the captives free. He abolished the works of the devil, to give us a life full of victories. He then ascended into heaven where He entered into the Holy of Holies and offered His blood on the mercy seat to grant us direct access to The Father. Hallelujah! What a story of great love! He is Risen! Our Lord has Risen! Hallelujah! He is Risen, behold the place where they laid Him is EMPTY! He is Risen! Praise God. This is the time and the moment to meditate on His resurrection and His glory. He is not dead. The tomb is empty! Jesus has risen from the dead! Happy Easter! And I love you.
