His Heart.

“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness”

Jeremiah 31:3 – 4

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”

John 3:16

_____________

These scriptures and many more show the extreme love that God has for us. When we are in a relationship, for instance, we give love and we also receive love. And when we don’t receive love, its only natural to doubt the relationship. Well, it's the same thing with God.

We see that all God has done and is still doing is loving, and loving us unconditionally. We also see his acts of love spread all around The Bible. We see in Genesis where He gave us the gift of choice; He could have made us robots who would only do what He’d like us to but no...He gave us CHOICE. We also see in The New Testament how He gave His Beloved Son, JESUS CHRIST to die for us all. He also has given us the gift of Life, and His nature and much more. God has done nothing but give to us. And as His beloved, what have we given in return?

Why does He love us so much? And what is so special about us? You know why? Because we are His; Because He has made us in His likeness; Because all He wants is to be with us, and unfortunately this is the one thing most have deprived God of...INTIMACY.

“So you will be my people and I will be your God”

Jeremiah 30:22

___________

This is what God really wants from us. For us to be His people, His personal person. He wants YOU. He wants to love you and be loved by you. He wants to care for you and be cared for by you. He wants to listen to you and be listened to by you. He wants to cloud your mind and be all you think of. He is in love with you and wants you to be in love with Him. This my dear is God’s heart.

He wants YOU.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20:3

________________

Anything that takes the place of God in your life has become an idol. Anything you would rather do instead of the things of God has become a god in your life. It could be your phone, social media, friends, sleep, movies, food...anything. You may have the heart to serve God and love Him, but it's your actions that will speak louder. So then, if you think to worship God then please worship him; to read his words, then please read his words; to love him, then love him; to praise him, then do just so. Everything you think to do in your heart, it is God that puts them there, Philippians 2:13. Not doing them time and time again is what grieves the Holy Spirit.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Mark 8:36

____________

It is very unfortunate that many, yield to the cravings of their flesh hence giving themselves to the devil at no price - for free. Not just money and fame but for social media, movies, music, food and the likes. But God’s love is ever willing to accept and redirect, and it is never too late. Let us turn back today, Let us love God with all our heart and all our might today. Let us begin to do, and not think alone. Let our actions speak louder than words today, 1 John 3:18, "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

We can start by making this simple prayer...

Lord Jesus, teach me to love you and help me to serve you with all of my heart. In Jesus name, Amen.

Romans 10:9-10
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

CALL TO SALVATION.
