How to stop procrastinating

Procrastination is always an interesting topic for me. I am honestly the person who tends to procrastinate. I do that because I also work better under a little bit of pressure.

However, Here are some tips that I use to better manage procrastination, which helps me to zone in and focus on what I need to.

Tip 1: Time Blocking

This is great for time management. We tend to procrastinate because we aren’t managing our time properly. I have time blocked in the morning for God, journaling, getting ready. I block off times to do what I need to do and this helps to move the needle forward.

Tip 2: To-Do Lists

Creating a list of things you need to get done in order of importance. While having your list, reward yourself after you complete certain tasks.

Go back to your WHY. Our why is always our driving force behind what we do, it is easy to get lost in the world and our surroundings that we forget WHY we started our business, our passion project, etc.

Tip 3: Easy aspects

Get started on the easy aspect of whatever your task is. Once you start there, it is easier to roll into the more difficult parts of the task.

Tip 4: Put yourself in peak state

Keeping your mind, body, and soul in peak state makes a huge difference in your performance. When you feel good, you perform well. When your mind Is in a peak state, you have less natural tendencies to procrastinate and your creative juices will flow.
