Let Go and let God

What does it mean to, Let Go and Let God? It’s a phrase you’ve probably heard a thousand times. When you’re in the midst of overwhelming, challenging circumstances, ‘let go and let God’; when you’re struggling with a certain sin, ‘let go and let God’; when things seem out of control, ‘let go and let God’.

In a layman’s understanding the phrase “Let Go and let God“ is about turning all problems, worries, troubles over to him and he would take care of things.

My definition of the phrase: “Let go (of the outcome you need/desire) and let God (manifest His will).

Let’s take a look at these profound verses from the Bible,

'Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. '

1 Peter 5:7

_________

'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. '

Proverbs 3:5-6

____________

'Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. '

Proverbs 16:3

____________

When you let go, it allows God to work in amazing ways, the Bible says He’s able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we require. Wow! Something definitely happens when He steps in, a lot of things change when you put it all before God - those frustrations, pain, anger, worries, your dreams, aspirations, whatever it is!

By releasing everything into God’s hands, you’re simply saying “Lord Jesus I trust you”.

You have to learn to stay fit with your shoes fitted with the Gospel of Peace.

He knows all your goals, dreams, everything cause he gave it all to you, so give him control over your life. (Jeremiah 29:11, Matthew 6:25-34, 2 Peter 1:3)

Don’t let anything or anyone steal your joy, instead 'be thankful', He is always working, He’s in control, He knows how to get our attention, just because we don’t see it happen doesn’t mean God is not working.

You do not have to figure it all out, release the struggles, the anger, the pain, the worries, the frustration into God’s hands.

Go out today lighter, let it all go, and let God!.

DAVILANDA

Romans 10:9-10
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

CALL TO SALVATION.
