As Christians, we are expected to apply our faith in Gods word to deal with situations and challenges. Hebrews 11:4-38 talks about the elders who obtained good reports (divine testimonies and God’s approval) by their faith. Read my previous post on ‘Faith; Your Key to Divine Testimonies.’ Here. Here are some practical tips to grow your faith:
Study the word: The first thing I recommend is to study the word of God for yourself. A man of God once said, “Christianity is DIY - Do It Yourself”. It’s not enough to go to church or listen to others tell you what the Bible says, get the word of God, study and meditate on it for yourself. 1 Peter 2:2 says; “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,”.
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Psalms 119:11 NIV _____________
Tip 1: Make up your mind to study the word of God more. Tip 2: Get online Bible study apps: She Reads Truth, Bible by Life.Church, Rhapsody app and more.
Tip 3: Create images of your favorite bible verses (Bible app by Life.Church has this feature) and use them as your wallpaper, you could print them out to stick them around you.

Tip 4: Keep the bible verses on your mind. Hear the word of God:
It’s important that you surround yourself with the word of God. There are a lot of little things you can do to get the word of God into your spirit.
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
Tip 5: Listening to a message or speaking words of affirmation as you get ready for your day. Faith proclamations by Pastor Chris (here). Tip 6: Scriptural wallpapers on your phone. Visit www.davilanda.com/freebies for FREE bible verse wallpapers. Tip 7: Reading a Christian book or blog. Tip 8: Curating our social media feed to be Word based.
Tip 9: Listen to Christian music. Get our playlists here. Prayer: Jude 1:20 says, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” The stronger your prayer life, the stronger your faith. Discipline yourself to pray.
Tip 10: Set times for your prayer Tip 11: Persistently pray for others Tip 12: Keep a prayer journal where you write your prayer points. Here’s an online prayer journal app. Get a Christian community: It’s important you surround yourself with other Christians who have similar goals.
“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2:22
Being around people with strong faith would change how you see things and it would make your growth easier and faster. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” Hebrews 10:25.
Tip 13: Get active in your local church. Join a team. Make more friends in church Tip 14: Talk to your friends about what you have learnt. The best way to keep what God has given to you is to tell it.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
Faith can’t work without love. A dear man of God once said,
“You'll never be able to believe God fully until you understand and walk in the God-kind of love. Why? Because God is love and the God-kind of faith works by love.So to believe God fully and to operate in the faith of God, you must walk in the love of God.”
Tip 15: Reach out to people in need, go the extra mile to help others. It might be something as little as helping them take a picture, that too is important. Tip 16: Reach out to win souls for the kingdom.

Tip 17: Serve at your local church. Be a doer of the word: Faith leaps, fear reconsiders. Refuse to fear, be a doer of the word. Whatever it is you have learnt practice it, and your faith would grow.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Tip 18: Do it! Don’t rethink it. Faith leaps, fear reconsiders.
