Virtues Of Excellence

Excellence is a virtue. To be excellent, according to the dictionary, is to have a quality or an ability which is unusually good and so surpasses ordinary standards.

Let’s discuss a few virtues of an excellent man:

1. Determination:

To be excellent you must first make up your mind to be excellent and then go ahead and live it out. Refuse to allow distractions, remain focused on developing excellence. Be committed to being excellent.

When I was much younger, I made up my mind to live in a certain kind of way that was different for others and to put a premium on myself.

I function more based on my personal goals than how I felt at the moment. This helped me live a very different kind of life from people around me. A lot of people said I was proud and that is very okay cause at the end of the day we do not have the same goals.

2. Productivity:

Meaning being industrious and very creative, your productivity and your products are the standards for measuring your excellence (Matthew 17:20). Make up your mind today to produce excellent fruits for God, be identified with Him in every way.

3. Diligence:

Diligence is very important in everything. To be diligent is to be constant in what you do. The Bible says, a diligent man would be extraordinary and would be in the company of extraordinary men having a higher standard than ordinary men (Proverbs 22:29)

4. Integrity:

“Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭

Integrity is the quality of being honest, having strong moral principles and reliable. To be trustworthy. This is a virtue that takes a conscious effort to obtain. You must make up your mind and steadily have it in your spirit.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23.

It’s my heartfelt prayer that the excellences of God continues to manifest in your life in Jesus name. Amen. Glory to God!

DAVILANDA

Romans 10:9-10
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

CALL TO SALVATION.
