You Sit Where He sits

“IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:1‬

___________

If you have risen with Christ, seek those things which are above. This is it, you died with Christ and you were buried with Him. You rose with Him, He rose, you rose. You are to sit where He sits, set your minds on Him alone. Because, for Jesus to save you, that means He is the source of your new life.

For example, in the transplantation of organs like the heart in a human body, the reason for a transplant is most probably because the heart is not functioning well and there's a defect, so there is a need for a transplant. The body would immediately adjust/adapt to the new organ or in a case of blood transfusion in a severely anemic patient, the body immediately adjusts and depend on the new blood, the same way, if you're dead and alive in Christ, you depend on your new life, your new life in Christ. Christ has transfused your whole body. Verse 3 says you are dead and your life is hidden with Christ in God. You are hidden with Christ in God. Your life is guarded, you are surrounded, your new environment is God, you are one with Christ, you were qualified to be one with Christ because you died with Him. You are kept in God. You are not alone.

' For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.'

Colossians 3:3

___________

Now I understand the book of Acts 17: 28 that says "It is in Him that we live and function and have our identity", Our lineage comes from Him. I cannot be alone, I am with Him in God. I am a major. In medicine, we have minor and major cases. This is a major case, I am identified with Christ, When you know me, you know Christ.
